Whitsun holiday programme at Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain
Traditionally, Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain helps to dispel holiday boredom. The Whitsun holiday programme starts on Tuesday, 30 May 2023 under the motto "Toilets in the past, today and tomorrow" at Porzellanikon in Selb. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the holiday children will learn everything about toilets. Together, the little guests will go on a journey through time and the world to the toilets of the world and then think about what the "quiet toilets" might look like in the future. They can design their own future dream toilets from building blocks.
The topic of toilets will also play the main role on Tuesday, 6 June 2023. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., everything revolves around the "colourful little toilet" at the Porzellanikon in Selb. During this programme, the little participants will learn everything about toilets on land, in the air and in outer space. Then creativity is called for. Small white toilet bowls are transformed into a colourful toilet with lots of paint.
In Hohenberg a. d. Eger, everything revolves around the fountain cure on Thursday, 1 June from 10 am to 12 pm. Together with Princess Marie in costume, children will explore the spa's daily routine and play an active role in shaping it. Dressed up as princess and prince, they will also taste the healing water with their own drinking cup. Children from the age of 6 can take part. Registration at besuchercenter(at)porzellanikon.org or +49 9287 918000.
