HALLOWEEN AT PORZELLANIKON!
Soon it's that time again: Halloween is just around the corner - the festival of ghosts and ghouls! What would a Halloween party be without the right spooky decorations? Pretty boring! So if you still need fancy accessories for a successful party, you can create them at the creative programme "Scary Sunday" on October 24, 2021, from 2:30 to 5:00 pm at Porzellanikon - State Museum of Porcelain, Selb. With the support of the museum team, chattering teeth, nasty pumpkin faces, scary skulls and much more will be created. But that's not all! Finally, it's off to the porcelain ghost's lair - in the darkest, farthest corner of the museum, where a very special moonlight falls. Not for the faint-hearted! This spooky family day is suitable for all young and old Halloween fans. The cost of materials is 3.00 €; adults pay an additional 1.00 € Sunday admission.
On the following Sunday, 31 October, things get really spooky again: anyone who wants to can take part in a Halloween flashlight tour from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and search for the treasure of the porcelain ghost. It's quite scary when the old factory walls come alive in the dark and hide all kinds of ghoulish creatures that play their tricks on the costumed museum guests. The tour is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Adults pay € 1.00 Sunday admission.
Registration for both events is required at besuchercenter(at)porzellanikon.org or Tel. +49 9287 918000. Further information at www.porzellanikon.org. The 3G rule applies.
