We look forward to welcoming you.
Please take note of our hygiene regulations
Keeping distance
Please keep your distance from other visitors in front of individual exhibits, in small exhibition spaces, on the stairs as well as in the lifts. At all of our entrances to the exhibition areas, in lifts and other public spaces, displays will provide information on the max. number of people allowed in the room at the same time. Please also take note of the distance regulations in the areas of the cash point, the museum shops and, of course, the demonstration stations.
Symptoms
Should you show any symptoms of an infectious respiratory disease, you are not allowed to enter the Porzellanikon. Please fully recover first!
Sneezing etiquette
Please cough and sneeze into the crook of the arm.
Hygiene
Disinfection and cleanliness are very important to us. This is why we have set up dispensers for hand sanitizer in all bathrooms and at all entrances to our houses. We ask you to use this opportunity to also protect your surroundings. All of our machinery, hand rails as well as toilettes are cleaned following a fixed cleaning cycle.
The museum’s restaurant open again from 28 November 2021.
Museum Education
Guided tours as well as audio guides are offer at the moment. It is estimated that guided tours for smaller groups can take place again.
On this page, we will keep you up-to-date regarding hygiene regulations and the possibility of booking guided tours. If you have any further questions, you can contact our visitor centre by calling 09233 7722-0 or 09287 91800-0.
